Hideto Suehiro

Hideto Suehiro is vice president of IMS Health operations in Japan.
IMS is the world's leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries serving more than 100 countries.
Suehiro manages the data supply chain especially among pharmaceutical wholesalers,
with a focus on strengthening partnerships with them to secure the critical
insights required to build IMS Japan solutions. He also manages the collection
of important prescription information through physician survey panels.
Suehiro is a member of the public relations, education and IFPW committees
of the Japan Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Association.
Before joining IMS Japan in July of 2001, Suehiro served as president of Spalding
Japan, Inc., a subsidiary of Spalding Sports Worldwide.
From 1982 to 1988 he was market research manager for Kodak Japan, where he
was in charge of ad hoc consumer health market research and analysis. Suehiro
also spent four years in sales at Nomura Securities Inc.
Suehiro holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University, 1976 and an MBA in
Finance from the University of Rochester.
