Peter Freiling
Vice President, Finance
Peter Freiling is vice president of IMS Health operations in Japan. He oversees Business Alliance, Quality and Security and Marketing Communications. IMS is the world's leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries serving more than 100 countries.
Prior to joining IMS in April, 2008, Freiling worked for IBM Corporation for 30 years, starting in 1977. At IBM, he had various roles in Financial Planning, Pricing & Business Analysis, and Business Transformation and IT. He has worked at IBM's offices in Europe, Asia Pacific as well as IBM's HQ in the US.
He holds BS in Mathematics and Physics from the Univ. of San Francisco, and MBA from the Univ. of California, Berkeley.
